Yay, you’re all booked in!
I just wanted to give you a warm welcome and tell you I am so excited to begin working on your project! I promise to give you my very best work, but in order to do that I need a little help from you.
Welcome Page
This page will tell you exactly what I need you to do before the project begins and provide you with a few tips and tricks to help you help ME design my best work yet for your amazing practice.
Because guess what? You deserve it.
Click through the tabs below to review.
Timeline
To help keep your project on track to finishing on time, please provide feedback on your designs within two business days of receiving them.
I really appreciate your effort to provide files and feedback on time and to communicate within the times and days outlined above. Timeliness from both of us will help us get your project done by the deadline so you can move on to the next exciting task on your to-do list and I can cheer you on.
I understand that sometimes it’s impossible to reply to emails and messages immediately, and so I don’t expect you to always be able to do so. At the same time, I’ve found that keeping the momentum going produces the best results for my clients.
Please understand that projects that exceed the original agreed upon timeline will incur additional costs. A delay fee of five percent (5%) of the proposal amount will kick in for every seven (7) days the All-Inclusive Project exceeds the 8-week timeline.
This is a highly effective antidote to the fear, perfectionism and procrastination that these creative projects can often bring up!
Homework
To keep to the time frame and deadlines set, here’s what I need before the project start date:
PRIVATE PRACTICE CLARITY WORKBOOK: In your Google Drive folder, complete your Private Practice Clarity Workbook. It covers your practice vision, therapist strengths, ideal clients and messaging. This will be the foundation of the work that follows!
BRAND DISCOVERY WORKBOOK: Also in your Google Drive folder, you’ll complete the Brand Discovery Workbook to help me understand your goals and style.
ADD VISUAL INSPIRATION TO OUR SECRET PINTEREST BOARD: You’ll be invited to a private Pinterest board where you can save inspiration for your new website.
If Pinterest isn’t your thing, don’t worry. You can search Google for images that resonate with the way you want your brand to feel and simply upload them to the ‘Pinterest’ task inside our Asana project. Watch the video above in the ‘Project Management’ section of this page to see how to do this.
WEBSITE INFORMATION QUESTIONNAIRE: In your Google Drive folder, you’ll complete the Website Information Questionnaire to provide the basic info I’ll need to build out your website. If you’re not sure about how you want to organize your website pages, we’ll cover this on the kick-off call.
Project Management
Now that you’re booked in my schedule, we’ll stop using email to have our conversation and we’ll start using my project management tool, Asana.
A project management tool is a secure space online where we can have conversations, share files, set reminders, and create to-do lists. Whereas files often get lost when I’m managing projects through email, nothing gets lost or forgotten in Asana. It’s the simplest way to keep your project organized and make sure it goes as smoothly as possible!
Don’t worry – you won’t need to pay for this tool and it’s not hard to use. Watch the video below to see a 4-minute tutorial on how to use it!
Feedback
I really appreciate simple and straightforward feedback. It helps me clearly understand your thoughts and make the right changes to your designs.
A few tips on providing awesome feedback:
Try and use bullet points to break up your feedback.
Use headers to organize your feedback.
Read over your feedback to make sure it’s clear and check that you’ve answered any questions I may have asked.
Post your feedback as a comment on the relevant Asana discussion instead of emailing me directly. Back and forth emails can get tiring but communicating in Asana is a breeze!
Payment Policy
A non-refundable 30% deposit is due to book your spot in my schedule. 35% is due by the project start date. 35% is due when the project is complete but before your website launches.
As outlined in my contract, if your first 35% payment is late, I can put your project on hold. We can restart the project at a later date but a Rescheduling Fee will be charged.
What happens now?
You’ll receive an email invite when your Google Drive Folder and Asana project are ready.
After you’ve completed everything in the Homework section of this page, we’re all set to begin your project!
I look forward to starting your project!
Arielle
